Conrad Morgan and Vinny Morgan charged with attempted murder after Christchurch pedestrian left with life-changing injuries in crash in Etches Close, at the junction of Western Avenue in Bournemouth
Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a Christchurch pedestrian was left with life-changing injuries in a crash.
Police were called on Monday at about 10pm to reports of a collision involving a black Range Rover and a pedestrian in Etches Close, at the junction of Western Avenue in Bournemouth.
The victim, a man aged in his 20s, was airlifted to hospital, and the occupants of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene.
Conrad Morgan (54) and Vinny Morgan (20) both of Bournemouth, were arrested in connection with the incident, and have now been charged with attempted murder, possessing an offensive weapon and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
They were due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Bell, of BCP CID, said: "Detectives are continuing to support the family of this serious incident and will be out in the community today. I would continue to urge anyone with information or footage relating to the incident to contact us in confidence.
"There will continue to be a visible presence over the next few days and officers will be happy for members of the public to approach them to discuss this matter."
