Pair arrested over drug supply offences after cash and substances found in rucksack at Totton skatepark

LEARN MORETWO men were arrested after police found a rucksack stuffed with drugs and cash while talking to youngsters at a Totton skatepark.
Officers were patrolling the Ashurst Bridge Road area when a man approached at Bartley Park around 5.20pm yesterday (Thursday).
He aroused their suspicions by placing a small bag among a number of rucksacks on the ground near the group of youngsters.
After searching the man, officers discovered and seized a quantity of cash and class B drugs, along with other drug-related gear.
A subsequent search of an address in Calmore Road uncovered further quantities of class B drugs and other related equipment.
Arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug, a 52-year-old and a 19-year-old, both local, remain in custody.
