Police arrest two men after bank cards stolen at Careys Manor Hotel in Brockenhurst used at New Milton shops




TWO men have been arrested after bank cards were stolen from a New Forest hotel before being fraudulently used at shops.

Police launched an investigation into the theft of a wallet containing the cards and cash from a locker at Careys Manor Hotel on Lyndhurst Road in Brockenhurst.

This took place between 5pm and 7pm on Thursday 10th April, with the cards then used at stores in New Milton.

Officers arrested a 34-year-old Southampton man and a 36-year-old Basingstoke man on suspicion of theft and fraud by false representation.

They were later released on conditional police bail pending further enquiries.
