Man arrested for drug supply offences after police raid home in Salisbury Road, Totton

A MAN was arrested in connection with drug supply offences after a police raid on a Totton home.

Quantities of class A and B substances were found and seized when officers swooped on the property in Salisbury Road at around 9.20am on Friday.

They arrested a 30-year-old local man on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply, possessing class B drugs with intent to supply, and possessing class A drugs.

Also detained on suspicion of racially aggravated public order and assaulting an emergency worker, he was later released under investigation.

The operation’s result prompted police to urge people to come forward if they have any information about such offences being committed in their area.

“Information that we receive from the community is vital and informs where we put our resources and take action against any illegal activity,” said a spokesperson for the Hampshire force.

“If you, or anyone you know, suspects that an address in your neighbourhood is being used for drug-dealing, drug-related activity or associated crime, then please call us on 101.”
