Man arrested after perfume stolen in raid involving two burglars at Lymington High Street shop

LEARN MOREA MAN has been arrested after a haul of perfume was stolen in a raid on a Lymington shop last night (Sunday).
The alarm was raised shortly after 9pm, with reports a business in High Street had been broken into by two men.
Having taken a quantity of perfume products, the pair then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Initial enquiries resulted in police arresting a 48-year-old man from Havant on suspicion of burglary. He is still in custody.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire force said: “A business premises in High Street was broken into around 9.10pm yesterday evening in which two men had been seen to enter the store.
“A quantity of perfumes had been stolen from the store, before they fled the scene in a vehicle.
“Officers conducted initial enquiries and a 48-year-old man from Havant was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He remains in custody at this time. Police enquiries remain ongoing.”
