Drug-drive arrest after crash partially blocks A326 between Totton and Ashurst




A MOTORIST was arrested after a two-vehicle crash that partially blocked the A326 between Totton and Ashurst.

The collision, involving a silver Nissan Qashqai and a black Audi A3, happened around 7.30am today (Wednesday).

Minor injuries were reported, according to Hampshire police.

Officers arrested the Audi driver, a 38-year-old man from Blackfield, on suspicion of drug-driving.

He was later released under investigation.

Morning rush-hour traffic delays followed in both directions as the main road was partially blocked on the roundabout between Knellers Lane and Cocklydown Lane.
