What’s On: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre
PANTO season is almost here, with less than a month until Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre.
On stage from Saturday 2nd until Sunday 31st December, the dazzling festive spectacular will feature the legendary Su Pollard in the role of Wicked Queen.
Tickets are on sale now and we’ve teamed up with the Pavilion Theatre to give away a family ticket to the opening matinee performance on Saturday 2nd December at 2.30pm (no exchanges possible).
Su is joined by Noel Brodie, who is returning for his 9th hilarious season and this year playing the role of Muddles. Also returning as Dame Dilly Donut is Jamie Steen, who together with Noel had the Pavilion rocking with laughter during last year’s pantomime.
This year’s show is masterminded by UK Productions. Show producer Martin Dodd said: “We always have a fantastic welcome from Bournemouth and on behalf of the cast and crew we can’t wait to bring some panto magic to the resort - with laughter, excitement and chaos topped with a sprinkling of Su Pollard mayhem!”
Su added: “Panto is a wonderful experience for everyone – a joy to watch and a privilege to be part of, I’m looking forward to being back in Bournemouth and playing a character everyone will love to hate!”
Hailed as one of the best loved panto stories, poor Snow White is doomed to live unhappily ever after with her horrid stepmother, the Wicked Queen. However, in true rags-to-riches style, she somehow manages, with the help of her madcap friend Muddles, to meet a handsome Prince and make her dreams come true.
With a beautiful princess, a jealous Wicked Queen, seven bumbling dwarfs, a naughty nurse, a hilarious jester, and not forgetting a poisoned apple and a magic mirror – everything is in place for a truly magical panto experience!
