What’s On: Done to Death, By Jove!, New Milton Memorial Centre

AUDIENCES are invited along for an uproarious ride as comic duo Gavin Robertson and Nicholas Collett appear on stage at New Milton Memorial Centre on Friday 9th February.

Presenting their latest theatrical masterpiece, Done to Death, By Jove!, the pair promise the show will take the British detective genre on a wild and unpredictable ride.

Imagine Holmes and Watson meeting Poirot and Miss Marple, all while navigating a quirky ensemble of lords, ladies, shady servants, and suspects with secrets.

The mystery unfolds with a twist, as sound cues go awry, leaving the audience wondering: who murdered Lady Fanshawe? Why is Matron Maudesly so chummy with a guest at the Clinic of Hopes and Cures?

The cast of six, despite facing unexpected challenges, embarks on solving the crime in a whirlwind of fast costume changes and misdirected acting hiccups. With four actors stranded on a motorway, only two make it to the venue; but as they say, ‘the show must go on!’

Critically acclaimed as “comedy gold” and praised for impeccable comic timing by Fringe Review, Done to Death, By Jove! promises a delightful 60-minute performance with no interval, suitable for ages 12 and above.

The doors and bar open at 6:45 pm with the show set to begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for under 18s, and £25 for families.
