A MONTHLY vegan night market is to pop up at the Vibrant Forest Brewery in Hythe with live music and dancing.

Set to take place on the third Thursday of each month, the Summer Nights Vegan Market is organised by Lymington chef Robyn Chiedozie.

She runs the Tinker’s Granddaughter food truck which specialises in homemade vegan comfort food such as non-chicken burgers, falafel burgers, rosemary and parmesan polenta chips, smoked cauliflower croquets and chocolate brownies.

Robyn said: “The brewery will open their taproom and serve drinks, then I’ll have three or four hot food traders and 10-15 stalls and marquees selling a selection of lovely vegan goods.

“It will be open 4pm until late, with the view to serve hot food until at least 8pm, longer if stallholders want.

“There will be music, dancing hopefully, and basically a really positive plant-based summer event for vegans and non-vegans alike where the focus is on delicious food and good moods!”

Robyn, a former restaurant manager, launched her food truck after a summer spent cooking vegan food at a yoga retreat in Ibiza.

Having run a number of independent bars and restaurants in London and around the world, she ultimately hopes to launch a vegan restaurant and deli in Lymington.

Her mobile kitchen, which has been converted from a former 1970s Austin Taxi and a horse box, also doubles up as a deli selling independent, small-batch cheeses, chocolates and other larder staples which can be ordered for collection.

The next Summer Nights Vegan Market will be at Vibrant Forest Brewery on 21st July.
