The Old Farmhouse on Ringwood Road has undergone an extensive redesign
A TOTTON pub has reopened following a six-figure revamp with the creation of 20 new jobs.
The Old Farmhouse, on Ringwood Rd has recently undergone an extensive redesign to revitalise the existing space and give it a new look and feel. After closing its doors in late September the pub has recently relaunched with a striking new décor and furnishings designed to create a bright and contemporary environment, whilst keeping the cosy, rustic pub vibe.
The bar area has been extended to create extra space and the area has been zoned, creating bar, restaurant, and sport areas. The pub sponsors several local sports teams including the West Totton Wanderers and also offers Sky and TNT Sport, as well as box office for all major boxing fixtures.
Outdoor improvements include a new heated pergola, complete with mood lighting, seating and an outdoor TV. The pub welcomes dogs both inside and outside.
The venue which was previously a Hungry Horse site, is now a Greene King pub a new lunch menu, small plates menu selection, and a seniors and kids menu. The drinks menu has also been revamped to include a cocktail menu, local beers and ales and non-alcoholic options.
General manager Ashley Williams, said: “The Old Farmhouse has always been a central pillar of the local community, and we look forward to welcoming both new and old customers to try out our new offering.
“The revamp has brought a whole new lease of life to the pub, and we’re confident that customers will love our improved facilities, menu and more for an even better drinking and dining experience than ever before!”
Alongside seasonal events, the Old Farmhouse will host a regular programme of events, including darts league, poker, rock n roll bingo, live music and more.
