Beaulieu’s Brabazon restaurant at the National Motor Museum gets £900k makeover
A FOREST museum’s restaurant has undergone a £900k revamp following a five-month phased programme of works.
Brabazon at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu now has a more formal restaurant area alongside a relaxed cafe providing the perfect setting for coffee and cake
The makeover has also seen the addition of a new outdoor covered terrace providing additional seating and room for four-legged friends, plus an extra accessible entrance.
By night, Brabazon can be transformed into a combined area for formal dinners and functions, perfect for charity gala evenings and Christmas parties.
Head of visitor experience and operations, Jon Tee, said: “We are delighted to unveil the newly refurbished Brabazon Restaurant & Coffee Shop, where every detail has been meticulously crafted to provide our visitors with a first-class dining experience that complements their day out at Beaulieu.
“Feedback from the first weeks of opening have been very positive, from both our guest and the hospitality team.”
The refurbishment of the venue, which is operated by Restaurant Associates on behalf of Beaulieu, is part of an ongoing programme of works aimed at “enhancing the visitor experience”.
Last month saw the opening of a new fairy and dragon willow sculpture trail, plus a new museum display Streets Ahead depicting a typical high street from the decades following the Second World War, including shops and vehicles.
