Festive panto Jack and the Beanstalk takes to the stage at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre this Christmas

THE fee-fi-fo-fabulous festive panto Jack and the Beanstalk will be at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre this Christmas.

On stage from Saturday 7th December until Sunday 5th January 2025, the dazzling festive spectacular will feature Coronation Street star Calum Lill and Milkshake presenter David Ribi.

With incredible 3D special effects, families are promised a fantastic reimagined romp through a classic with lots of exciting twists.

In this version a heinous henchman kidnaps a cow and a princess from the downtrodden town of Boggy Bottom. However, hope is not lost as brave young Jack finds himself on an adventure fit to grace the pages of a story book.

Audiences can expect a show with all the classic panto ingredients – a wholesome hero, a punch-packing princess, a feisty fairy, a simple sibling, a witty widow, a slippery servant, a kind-hearted king and a cow with some beef. And of course, a very large magical plant!

Alongside Calum and David, comic Noel Brodie returns as Silly Simon, bringing huge laughs and lots of mayhem as he tries to help his brother Jack on his quest to save the princess. This year the role of Dame Trott will be played by the fabulously flamboyant Oliver Brooks.

Ribi said: ”I love that you never quite know what’s going to happen once the curtain goes up. Pantomimes always mould themselves around the audience that are in and so no two shows are ever the same – especially when you share a scene with the dame or the comic. I’m watching you, Brodie!”

The show will be packed with great songs and plenty of laughter, guaranteeing a magical and memorable festive experience. Tickets are from £18.

We’ve teamed up with the Pavilion Theatre to give away a family ticket to the matinee performance on Sunday 8th December at 1pm. To be in with a chance to win, pick up a copy of the A&T, out 15th November.
