Grand opening for colourful Ballard Fairy Trail in New Milton

FAMILIES will be able to take a magical stroll around a New Milton beauty spot with colourful fairy doors decorating its route.

The Ballard Fairy Trail is being launched by the town council with a grand opening at Ballard Lake, off Fernhill Lane, at 3pm on Wednesday 6th April.

Youngsters and staff from Little Angels Nursery, based at New Milton Memorial Centre in Whitefield Road, have been invited to the event along with other local groups. They are asked to gather in the copse area to the north of the lake.

The trail runs from there, past the lake and the Scout hut, towards Doe Copse Way, with painted fairy doors adorning trees along it.

Visitors are advised to wear boots as the trail can get muddy.
