Dance music legends Basement Jaxx set to headline 2025’s Camp Bestival in Dorset
DORSET’S biggest music festival Camp Bestival is set to return in 2025 with dance music legends Basement Jaxx headlining on the Saturday night.
The hugely popular festival has long been a top showcase for up-and-coming Hampshire and Dorset bands, who have the chance to appear alongside chart-toppers and international acts.
Returning to Lulworth Castle from Thursday 31st July to Sunday 3rd August, Camp Bestival is famed for its family-friendly vibe and huge range of hands-on activities and experiences masterminded by DJ Rob da Bank and his wife Josie.
The 2025 theme will be the ‘World’s Biggest Pyjama Party’ – with sleepy inspired fancy dress and PJs encouraged for all for a mega fancy dress competition on the Saturday of the festival, with a family ticket to the 2026 event up for grabs.
Basement Jaxx will be bringing back their legendary euphoric carnival-filled live experience complete with a dizzying array of singers, MCs, musicians and whole troupes of dancers for the first time in a decade.
Felix Buxton of Basement Jaxx said: “After a few years DJing round the globe, it’ll be great to return to the live stage and the live show experience. To connect to people with life affirming energy and give people a great time.
“It’s great our hits are still very much alive with younger generations, so we connect across the age range – and it’ll be great to pop in a couple of bangers from our forthcoming album too.”
Camp Bestival returns to Lulworth Castle from 31st July to 3rd August 2025. Tickets are from £221 for adults and £111 for kids. In 2025 Camp Bestival will be offering free tickets to under-fives with a festival payment plans that allows families to pay the cost of tickets over six monthly instalments between February and July, following an initial payment of £15 per adult and £10 per child or teen ticket.
