Cafè Mambo brings Ibiza style party to Embley Park in Romsey
CLUBBING in Ibiza may have been off the cards this summer but house music fans can enjoy a taste of the White Isle as Café Mambo hosts an outdoor extravaganza at Embley Park in Romsey on Saturday 21st August.
Café Mambo in the Park will bring a slice of Ibiza to the UK for a one-day summer festival featuring iconic sets from some of the best house music talent in the business.
A star-studded line-up of DJs will be spinning the biggest tracks and iconic club classics in Embley’s beautiful surroundings, kicking off a weekend of spectacular fundraising events.
The DJ line-up for the event includes Hannah Wants one of the most in-demand female DJs on the planet, BBC Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard, husband and wife DJ and saxophonist duo Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago, up-and-coming electronic music star Bajau, and DJ and producer Derrick McKenzie.
The concert is part of fundraising weekend A Celebration of Speed in aid of motor racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart’s charity Race Against Dementia, and local children’s hospice Naomi House and Jacksplace.
Event director Mike Turnbull said: “Café Mambo is an institution in the electronic dance music scene.
“We are pleased to bring the unique, relaxed and soulful Ibiza atmosphere for which Café Mambo is globally renowned to Embley this summer.
“It is set to be an evening to remember with top roster of all-star DJs ready to hit the decks and entertain our guests.”
