VACANCY FOR CLERK/ REPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER (RFO) TO THE PARISH COUNCIL

Are you interested in local affairs; and would you like to work flexibly?

We have a vacancy for a clerk/RFO and are looking for somebody with a helpful, supportive personality.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons who can work independently and flexibly with a strong community focus.

The Parish Clerk will be responsible for the administration of the business and finances of the Council.

You will be a good communicator with excellent people skills

You will demonstrate competence in English and Mathematics.

Applicants must possess excellent IT skills and experience of financial management.

You will work mainly from home and we will pay an allowance towards your office costs. You will attend Parish Council meetings which take place every second Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm.

Hours: 13 hours per week worked on a flexible basis.

Remuneration: up to £7600 p.a. subject to relevant experience and qualifications.
