Police want to trace 25-year-old Jack Cooper in connection with the break-in at a property in Sandy Down, which took place on 11th September.

A purse taken from inside the address contained the bank cards which were later used at a number of locations.

Two months on, people are being urged to get in touch with officers if they think they may know of Cooper’s whereabouts.

Hampshire police said he could currently be in Hythe, where he has connections, or other areas of Hampshire.

He is described as white, of chunky build and with brown hair. He may also have stubble or a bearded appearance.

A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “We have followed various lines of enquiry to locate Cooper and are now turning to the public for assistance.

“It is believed Cooper could be in the Fareham area. He also has connections to Hythe and could also be in the Romford area.”
