A NEW Milton vet practice has been forced to shut its doors to non-emergencies after one of its staff tested positive for the coronavirus.
Forest Lodge Vet Practice, in Barton Court Road, said last night (Sunday) its team had to take emergency isolation measures to “reduce the risk to the rest of the team and our clients”.
In a social media post, it said all routine procedures and appointments were suspended until they could be safely resumed, but an emergency service would be provided.
“Please be aware that our entire reception team is now self-isolating and cannot attend work, therefore the phonelines will be manned by the vets and nurses,” the post said.
“To ease the pressure on them, we kindly request that you only contact us in the event of an urgent or emergency matter.”
