Drugs found in raid on Fordingbridge home

A HAUL of class A and B drugs was seized when police raided a Fordingbridge home.


Officers swooped on the property in Waverley Road just after 6.30am on Friday and seized the substances along with other drug-related items.

As a result, a 24-year-old local man was helping the force with its enquiries.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said last Friday: “Officers who were executing a warrant at a property in Fordingbridge have seized a quantity of drugs.

“They attended an address on Waverley Road just after 6.30am this morning (20th November).

“A quantity of class A and class B drugs were seized along with other items associated with drug-related activity.

“A 24-year-old man from Fordingbridge will be assisting police with their enquiries.”

People are being urged to come forward if they, or someone they know, suspects that an address in their neighbourhood is being used for drug dealing or other drug-related activity.”

The force spokesperson added: “Information that we receive from the community is vital and informs where we put our resources and take action against any illegal activity.”
