BROCKENHURST FC sealed a spot in the next round of the FA Vase after a dramatic sudden-death penalty shoot-out victory over Corsham Town.

The match went to penalties after a razor-close 90 minutes. Corsham took the lead with a tidy finish from academy product Miles Littlechild before Jude Nwachukwu scored a penalty to level the match.

Both sides showed their mettle with every penalty scored until James Mayo saved to send the Badgers through.

Brock went behind after striker Littlechild spun his marker before firing into the bottom corner.

Nwachukwu scored the equaliser from the penalty spot in the 78th minute when he coolly sent the keeper to his right while smashing the ball down the middle.

After the shoot-out win, Brockenhurst’s players sprinted from the halfway line to celebrate with goalkeeper Mayo.

In the next round, Brockenhurst FC host AFC Stoneham at the Meadens Skoda Arena on 10th October.
