CCTV: Pair wanted over cognac theft from New Milton supermarket

POLICE have released a CCTV image of two men they want to find after bottles of cognac were snatched from a New Milton supermarket.


The pair entered the Tesco store in Caird Avenue before taking a number of bottles of Hennessy cognac from the shelves and leaving without paying for them.

People are urged to come forward if they recognise the suspects or if they saw the theft take place between 5.50pm and 6pm on 29th January.

A spokesperson for the Hampshire force said: “Can you help us identify these men?

“We want to speak with them in connection with an incident of shoplifting at Tesco in Caird Avenue, New Milton, which happened between 5.50pm and 6pm on 29th January.

“The two men entered the store, removed a number of bottles of Hennessy from the shelves and left without paying.

“Do you recognise either of the two men? Were you in the area at the time? We hope that someone may know who they are and be able to assist with our enquiries.”
