Man comes forward over use of bus pass belonging to user who died 12 years ago

Police have made no arrests over the appeal

A MAN has come forward following a CCTV appeal in relation to the fraudulent use of a bus pass belonging to a passenger who died 12 years ago.

Police released images of a suspect they wanted to trace after the pass was used on at least 70 journeys in the Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole areas from November 2019 to February this year.

Made out in the name of a man who passed away in 2008, it was also reported to have been used over a number of years from 2017.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said today a man was helping officers with their investigations, although no arrests had been made.
